For 10 trumpets and conductor (2004), includes score and parts. Festival Trumpets was composed in 1978 at the request of James Ketch, who played the virtuoso first-trumpet part in the premiere performance for the International Trumpet Guildat Ohio State University in Columbus in 1980. It is scored for ten trumpets (in C and Bb) and conductor. The first trumpet features in sequence: trumpet in D, in C, B-flat fleugelhorn, and again in D. The work is in four sections (Maestoso - Moderato - Scherzando - Maestoso) played without pause. It is ideal as an opening work for festive occasions and dedicatory events. Duration: ca. 6' "
