For voice and cello, includes two scores. Composed in 1974, Faces is a setting for voice and cello of Jane Rodgers' poem, The Young-Old Faces, 1973. It was premiered at the Los Angeles County Museum in 1975 by soprano Barbara Dalheim and cellist Peter Farrell. The work has been performed extensively by the artist Zae Munn, playing cello and singing while activating percussion instruments with her bow and foot. It also has been choreographed by dancer Patricia Hruby. Recorded by Ms. Munn, Faces is available from Opus One Records Compositions by Erik Lund and Morgan Powell - CD164, 1993. Duration: ca. 7"
