Lipp, Charles
Charles Lipp -- Bassoon professor at the University of Nevada and composer of new music, Charles Lipp studied composition with Mauricio Kagel and Herbert Brun. He has championed new music both in the United States and in Europe. In addition to his own music, he performs works especially written for him by some of today's leading composers including the Polish composer, Boguslaw Shaffer. Lipp's work for solo tuba, "Tuba Magritte" is published by Media Press.
